Masou Gakuen Hxh Season 2
The anime makers promised us more content with the message “To be continued” in the latest episode. For years, fans have been hoping for a new season.
Unfortunately, however, Production IMS has yet to confirm its renewal. Well, that certainly doesn’t guarantee cancellation either, although the chances of it coming back are pretty slim.
For a long time, anime adaptations served only as advertisements for the source material. Therefore, they are rarely given the opportunity to return. While there are exceptions, sequels only get greenlit as long as they don’t have some content to promote.
Unfortunately, Masou Gakuen HxH Season 2 has nothing more to advertise. The Hybrid × Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia light novel series has already ended in September 2019 and its manga adaptation has also been discontinued.
On the other hand, the first season of the anime didn’t perform well. Moreover, the series was also a commercial failure, as CD sales were quite low.
Based on his posts, Masou Gakuen HxH Season 2 might be hard to hit the screens again.
